Zaino Hall & Farrin LLC is happy to announce that Todd S. Mullen has joined the Firm as a Tax Associate. In this role, Todd will focus his tax experience in assisting clients with sales and use tax, and commercial activity tax including audit defenses, refund reviews, tax research, tax planning and compliance, and voluntary disclosures. Todd delivers exceptional value to his clients by leveraging his experience to combine technical precision with a strategic understanding of tax law and the business implications that drive client decision-making.
Before joining ZHF, Todd worked for T&T Associates where he focused on tax compliance and planning needs of high-net-worth individuals and their related business entities. He advised clients on a wide range of issues, including federal and multi-state taxation, as well as on long-term tax planning strategies, while coordinating closely with client legal and financial teams. Prior to T&T Associates, Todd was a public accountant at Crowe LLP where he advised individuals, trusts, and businesses on complex federal and state tax matters. In that position, he worked closely with clients across industries to develop tailored compliance and planning strategies.
In addition to his role at ZHF, Todd is pursuing a Juris Doctor at the University of Dayton School of Law which will enable him to deliver more value to his clients by adding a lawyer’s analytical reasoning and research to his technical accounting skills. Todd previously earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a specialization in Accounting and a minor in Economics from The Ohio State University, graduating cum laude.
